Checking Database Integrity


The Database integrity wizard allows you to check if any data in the eLab database has been manually altered.

Note:

To run an integrity check, follow these steps.
  1. Click the Database Maintenance button from the Administration group on the Home menu. The Database Maintenance wizard is displayed.

  2. Click on the Check Database Integrity button.

  3. In the Specify which data to check section:
    Note: The second option is the most secure as any altered data may have modified the date time stamps of the data rows, thereby possibly excluding it from being checked if the first or third option is checked.
  4. Optionally, click Skip archived data to not check data that has been deleted or rows recording values before being updated.
  5. In the Reporting section, optionally check:
  6. Click Next and click Accept.
  7. Click the Close button to close the wizard.
