Each material that is imported has the following properties:
- Concentration
The value of the concentration of the material
- Concentration Unit
The unit corresponding to the concentration of the material.
- Created By User
The name of the user importing the data.
- Material Location
The material location describes the properties of the location in which the material is stored.
- Column Number
The value of this property corresponds to the column of the container where the material is stored.
- Comment
This property contains any comments attached to the well where the material is stored.
- Container
Container describes the properties of the container in which the material is stored. You can either specify an existing container on the container row or expand the node to set the properties of a new container.
- Contamination
The contamination property is used to associate one of the following levels of contamination with a material:
- Yes. The material is definitely contaminated.
- Maybe. The material is possibly contaminated.
- No. The material is definitely not contaminated.
- Unknown. No determination of any contamination has been made. This is the default contamination setting for materials.
- Control
This property has one of the following values:
- 1 – Used to indicate a positive control.
- 0 – Indicates that the material is not a control. This is the default value.
- - 1 – Used to indicate that the material is a negative control.
- Row Number
The value of this property corresponds to the row of the container where the material is located.
- Type
The sample or reagent type of the material being imported.
- Reagent
The sub-properties of the reagent section relate to the importation of reagent date.
- Comment
This property contains any comments attached to the reagent
- Date Created
The date that the reagent was created.
- Created by User
The name of the user importing the data.
- Group
The group that the reagent belongs to.
- Name
The name used to identify the reagent.
- Sample
The sub-properties of the material section relate to the importation of sample date.
- Collected Date
This is the date that the original sample was collected on. For example, if the original sample was blood this is the date that the blood was drawn from the patient.
- Comment
This property contains any comments attached to the reagent.
- Group
The group that the reagent belongs to.
- Sample Identifier
The sub-properties of the Sample identifier section relate to external identifiers.
- Comment
This property contains any comments attached to the external identifier.
- Name
This property is used to contain the external sample identifier.
- Volume
The value of the volume of the material.
- Volume unit
The unit corresponding to the volume of the material.
