Requesting a Server Key

Use this option to request a key to access some features in eDBA that cannot be accessed ecause a server is corrupt and needs to be repaired or removed.

To request a server key, follow these steps:

On the End User License Agreement page, read the license agreement and if you agree click Accept.
On the Overview screen click Next.
On the Options page, click Show advanced options and then click Request a server key.
Select the SQL Server instance that you want to request a key for from the SQL Server name control. Click Next.
Enter the name of your organization in the Group box.
Enter the details of a contact person and any comments. Click Next.
Advanced Options. Use this option to change the way that email notifications are returned to eBioSys.
Click Accept.
Click Close to close the wizard.

Note: This will then send a request to eBioSys for a key. eBioSys will confirm your details before sending you a time-limited linked and server specific key.
